On September
19, at the 10th anniversary celebration of Bronze Technologies, Bronze
Technologies and BASiC Semiconductor jointly released a full-SiC device
solution for NEV motor controllers. The solution uses proprietary 1200V SiC
MOSFET chips and automotive-level power module package. Combined with stable
and reliable SiC gate drivers, it can effectively improve the performance of
key components of the motor drive in the electric vehicles.
The automotive full-SiC power module launched by BASiC Semiconductor is integrated with two units of 1200V/200A SiC MOSFET and SiC freewheeling diode, which facilitate the design of high-efficiency motor controllers through single-sided water cooling. The product gives full play to the performance advantages of SiC power devices and adopts the latest design and production process of SiC MOSFET devices, offering industry leading performance in terms of gate electric input capacitance, internal parasitic inductance, thermal resistance and so on.
Bronze Technologies has brought out different SiC
MOSFET driver solutions for SiC devices of different manufacturers based on
different application requirements, with their operating frequency ranging from
60kHz to 100kHz, anti-interference performance at 100kV/μs, and fast
short-circuit protection response. Bronze Technologies' SiC MOSFET driver
solutions help SiC power devices make full use of the high temperature, high
frequency, and high voltage advantages of SiC power devices, and can be widely
used in automotive powertrains, battery chargers, DC converters, and industrial
solar inverters, motor drive, UPS, and switch mode power supplies, etc.
