From April 6th to 8th, the 7th IEEE Symposium on Emerging Technology of Transportation Electrification was held in Wuhan, which is the first interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary and open forum focusing on the field of transportation electrification in China. Chen Hengxing, deputy general manager of Bronze Technologies, was invited to attend this event and gave a keynote speech titled "Application of Gate Driver Technology for SiC Devices in Locomotive Applications".

In the field of locomotives, Bronze Technologies has rich application experience. At the company's booth, Bronze Technologies unveiled its high-performance locomotive IGBT driver solution, attracting many visitors to stop by and inquire. This series of solutions is compact, cost-effective and versatile, with fault diagnosis, high isolation voltage, soft shutdown. It is compatible with various packages such as EconoDual3, 62mm and XHP, and covers most of the power range of locomotive solutions.

SiC technology is regarded as one of the important ways to break the development dilemma of IGBT modules, and it has important significance in increasing vehicle speed, reducing weight and power losses. Compared to silicon devices, SiC devices also pose new challenges to the design of drive circuits. Relying on its technology accumulation in the power device driver industry, Bronze Technologies has launched a series of SiC driver solutions in line with the application characteristics of SiC power devices. In the speech, Chen Hengxing introduced in detail the application of SiC devices in locomotive applications, as well as the company's self-developed integrated chip solutions and low stray inductance packaging driver solutions.
