Traction drives

Traction drives refers to the motor traction controller in locomotive applications. It converts power supply into a controllable alternating current, and drive the motor to tract the locomotive. According to the characteristics of high voltage and high power of the main converter, Bronze Technologies has launched a variety of driver solutions for different topologies and package types.

High-speed Trains

The main converter of high speed trains adopts the AC/DC rectification + DC/AC inverter architecture mainly in 2-level or I-type 3-level. The output power is at the MW level. The 3300V and 6500V high-current power devices are generally used. According to the high-voltage and high-current characteristics in the application, Bronze Technologies has developed dedicated driver solutions.

Urban Trains

Urban trains can be divided into subway, light rail, and intercity expresses. Generally, the 1500V DC bus is used. Therefore, the main converter is mainly constructed with single-level DC/AC inverters. Generally, the 2-level topology, and 3300V high-current power devices are used.
